Micron rose 0.39% and ranked second in U.S. stock trading by value, with turnover of $34.948 billion. According to Sina Finance, Micron showed the world’s first 512GB DDR5 memory module, a 3DS RDIMM that uses through-silicon via stacking to maximize capacity in a single package. The company said the module supports 9,200MT/s transfer speeds, can deliver 12TB of memory in a single server under a dual-socket 24-slot configuration, and is expected to enter mass production in the second half of 2027. AMD and Intel are validating the module on next-generation server processor platforms. Nvidia rose 0.57% and ranked fourth with turnover of $18.627 billion. According to Sina Finance, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said on Tuesday that no new laws or regulatory rules are needed for artificial intelligence safety, arguing that market forces will push companies to ensure safety while innovating. He made the remarks at a Salesforce event and said AI development does not have to choose between safety and speed. Meta rose 0.70% and ranked fifth with turnover of $13.042 billion. According to Sina Finance, Meta Platforms plans to begin deploying its new in-house ARKE chip in data centers in the first half of next year. The company said it is testing the third-generation version of the series, code-named MTIA 450 or Arke, while the next version, code-named 500 or Astrid, is expected to finish design work in about a month and enter data-center use in 2027. Tesla fell 0.67% and ranked sixth with turnover of $10.853 billion. According to Sina Finance, Elon Musk again hinted at the 2026 All-In Summit that SpaceX and Tesla could merge. The report said the two companies have already cooperated in several areas, including the Terafab semiconductor project. Apple fell 0.52% and ranked ninth with turnover of $10.475 billion. According to Sina Finance, Apple pushed iOS 27 to users on Monday U.S. Eastern Time. The update’s main highlight is the public test phase for Siri AI, which Apple announced in June but had not yet formally delivered; it currently supports only English. Amazon fell 2.02% and ranked 11th with turnover of $9.018 billion. According to Sina Finance, Amazon Web Services said some data centers in the Persian Gulf region still cannot restore data access after damage during the U.S.-Iran war. AWS said data stored only in its Bahrain data center and some network regions in the United Arab Emirates remains inaccessible. AMD rose 2.19% and ranked 13th with turnover of $8.632 billion. Intel fell 0.05% and ranked 15th with turnover of $8.326 billion. According to Sina Finance, chipmaker Altera, backed by private equity giant Silver Lake and Intel, said on Tuesday that it has confidentially filed for an initial public offering with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, formally starting its return to the public market. Dell rose 1.73% and ranked 20th with turnover of $5.417 billion. According to Sina Finance, Dell Technologies CEO Michael Dell said the AI boom will keep prices for computing equipment and personal computers rising, and that the structural shortage of hardware chips will likely worsen further in 2027. He said chip structural shortages are likely to be more severe in 2027 than in 2026 and that higher costs will be passed through to product pricing.
