Quoin Pharmaceuticals, Ltd., a late-stage specialty pharmaceutical company, focuses on the development and commercialization of therapeutic products for rare and orphan diseases in the United States. The company’s lead product is QRX003, a topical lotion, which is in phase 2 to treat netherton syndrome (NS); phase 1 in to treat peeling skin syndrome; and in pre-clinical stage to treat SAM syndrome and ichthyosis. It also develops QRX008 for the treatment of scleroderma, which is in pre-clinical stage; and QRX009, to treat microcystic lymphatic malformations, venous malformations, angiofibroma, and other diseases. It has a research agreement with Queensland University of Technology.
