Spectrum Brands Holdings, Inc. Net loss from continuing operations was $25.6 million or $1.11 per share, compared to net income from continuing operations of $20.7 million or $0.80 per share in the year-ago quarter.
Excluding items, adjusted income from continuing operations was $2.79 per share, compared to $1.24 per share from last year.
Sales for the quarter grew 7.7 percent to $753.3 million from $699.6 million in the same quarter last year. Organic net sales growth was 6.6 percent.
