Kinder Morgan's Q1 Profit Beats Wall Street Expectations on Strong Natural Gas Demand
US pipeline operator Kinder Morgan announced that its first-quarter profit beat Wall Street expectations, driven by increased natural gas transportation volumes.
The US pipeline company is benefiting from a surge in oil and gas production in the Permian Basin, as well as record-breaking liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports and soaring demand for natural gas driven by artificial intelligence (AI) operations, cryptocurrency mining, and data center power consumption.
