U.S. Bank sent dollars from North America to Europe on Stellar in a live pilot that used its USBDC token, which customers cannot buy and the bank can freeze, destroy or reverse. According to BeInCrypto, the bank described the move as a launch, but its own announcement called it a test, and the pilot showed all four actions worked. The bank said the pilot is meant to speed global cash management and money movement.
