AFTERMARKET MOVES | Cooper Companies Slides 14% on Soft Guidance; Navan Falls 12% After Narrow Beat

According to CNBC, several stocks moved sharply in extended trading. Cooper Companies dropped roughly 14% after fourth-quarter projections came in below Street estimates, with the medical device maker guiding revenue of $1.057 billion to $1.080 billion and adjusted earnings of $1.05 to $1.09 per share, versus the LSEG consensus of $1.11 billion and $1.19 per share. Navan tumbled 12% after posting second-quarter adjusted earnings of 5 cents a share, only narrowly beating the 4 cents anticipated by analysts, per FactSet; the business-travel and expense software maker also announced the acquisition of events platform BoomPop, with financial terms undisclosed. American Eagle Outfitters slid 10% after second-quarter comparable sales fell 1%, versus analysts' call for a 0.6% decline, and forecast current-quarter operating income of $110 million to $115 million, below the StreetAccount consensus of $124.3 million. Wealthfront dropped almost 4% as second-quarter earnings of 10 cents a share topped the FactSet consensus by two cents and revenue of $91.9 million edged past the $91.5 million estimate. AeroVironment gained 2% after first-quarter adjusted earnings of 59 cents a share and revenue of $480 million beat analyst estimates of 25 cents and $456 million. Enbridge fell 2% after announcing it would acquire Tallgrass Energy's crude transportation business for $2.55 billion.
