# $Tesla(TSLA.US) is down 9% because investors were hoping to hear that the robotaxi rollout in Austin

$Tesla(TSLA.US) is down 9% because investors were hoping to hear that the robotaxi rollout in Austin would meaningfully accelerate this quarter.

My guess is we have to wait until fall, given that twice on the call Elon mentioned, "We're just being extremely paranoid" when it comes to safety and FSD. That’s a read on how they think about safety and robotaxi.

Good news is it's a function of time.
