WSTS raised its 2025 semiconductor market forecast to US$728 billion, up 15.4% over last year, and higher than its June forecast of 11.2% growth. World Semiconductor Trade Statistics (WSTS) said the global chip market grew 18.9% year-on-year in the 1st half of this year, to US$346 billion, driven by data center infrastructure and the emergence of initial AI edge applications. #semiconductors
