# $Circle(CRCL.US)Circle has announced partnerships with Mastercard and Finastra to expand the use of 

$Circle(CRCL.US)Circle has announced partnerships with Mastercard and Finastra to expand the use of USDC in global payment systems. Under the new agreements, Mastercard will enable merchants and acquirers across Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EEMEA) to settle transactions using USDC and Euro Coin (EURC).

Arab Financial Services and Eazy Financial Services will be among the first to adopt this solution. Meanwhile, Finastra, a leading financial software provider, will integrate USDC into its cross-border payments platform, Global PAYplus.
