A Prayer for the Turning Point USA and Turning Point Action Family
Heavenly Father, our Eternal Comforter and Prince of Peace, In this hour of profound sorrow and unimaginable loss, we come before Your throne of grace with heavy hearts. You, who knit us together in our mother's womb and number our days, have called home Your faithful servant, Charlie Kirk, the visionary founder of Turning Point USA and Turning Point Action. We mourn his sudden departure from this earthly life, taken by violence on this tragic day and we lift up to You the devoted staff of @TPUSA and @TPAction, their families, their loved ones, and all who have been touched by his passionate pursuit of truth, liberty, and the Gospel's light. Lord Jesus, the Good Shepherd who laid down His life for us, wrap Your loving arms around these grieving souls. Bind up their broken hearts, as You promised in Your Word, and pour out the oil of joy for mourning. Grant the TPUSA and TPAction teams Your strength to carry on the mission You entrusted to them, that they may continue to awaken hearts to righteousness, defend the unborn, champion freedom, and proclaim Your unchanging truths in a darkening world. Holy Spirit, our Advocate and Counselor, fill their homes with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Protect their families from fear and despair, surround them with a hedge of divine safety, and remind them that though we sow in tears, we shall reap in joy. May Charlie's legacy endure as a beacon, inspiring the next generation to stand boldly for You, until the day when every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Risen Savior, we pray. Amen.
