$Coinbase(COIN.US)Coinbase will release its earnings after the U.S. market closes today. Analysts expect strong Q3 growth, forecasting diluted EPS of $1.15 on $1.80 billion in revenue, compared to $0.28 EPS on $1.21 billion last year. Coinbase has beaten consensus in five of the past eight quarters.

As one of the world’s largest crypto exchanges, Coinbase benefits from its vertically integrated model, acting as broker, market maker, and custodian. While its performance is closely tied to crypto price movements, it also earns from transaction fees, stablecoin services, and staking revenue.

Recently, Coinbase formed a strategic partnership with Citigroup to allow Citi’s institutional clients to deposit and withdraw fiat through its platform.
