NVIDIA$Taiwan Semiconductor(TSM.US)
When people ask if holding TSM is risky, I don’t answer with numbers. I think about what happens if it fails. If TSM went offline, the S&P, the dollar, the global supply chain, everything would feel it. Cash wouldn’t help either.
I see TSM differently. It’s not “safe” in the usual sense. It’s the ultimate hedge against everything else breaking. If the system survives, great. If not, my money wouldn’t matter anyway, but at least I’m positioned on the upside before the storm hits.
For me, this isn’t risk avoidance. It’s acknowledging reality and positioning for it.
