Rumor: Google is expanding TPU-based server production to Taiwan’s Inventec, a longtime supplier of Google’s server mainboards, media report. Inventec is expected to make the TPU servers at its new Texas plant. Currently, all Google AI server assembly (L10) is done in-house or by Celestica.
