Taiwan electronics giant Compal will transform into an AI powerhouse this year, as Chairman Ray Chen called 2025 an operational bottom, media report. AI servers will make up 80% of total server revenue at Compal this year, and AI PCs 50%-60% of PC revenue as Compal seeks to return to NT$1 trillion in revenue. Compal will also work on other AI-related businesses, including Edge AI, more. Revenue fell 17% last year to NT$757.5 billion, down sharply from the 2021 peak of NT$1.23 trillion.
