$Intel(INTC.US)INTC’s post-earnings dump made the earlier squeeze look very staged. Going into the report, price was driven by positioning, shorts getting forced out, and momentum chasing — not fundamentals. Once earnings hit and the story didn’t justify the run, that air came out fast. The sell-off felt like reality snapping back in. From a tape view, it’s a classic setup: squeeze first, distribute into strength, then let fundamentals reset expectations. Painful, but not unusual.
