Gold fell -9% and silver crashed -26% today after Trump nominated Kevin Warsh, a longtime inflation hawk, as the new Fed Chair today. I have to think through the implications of this, but what melts up (gold +75% over the past year, silver +170% on fears of monetary debasement) can just as easily melt down.
