Singapore stocks continue rally on Wednesday, up 0.4 per cent

Singapore stocks rose 0.4% on Wednesday, with the Straits Times Index closing at 4,984.58. SGX led blue-chip gains, up 5.0%, while CapitaLand Investment fell 3.5%. The broader market saw 374 gainers versus 230 losers. Regional indices also closed higher, with Kopsi up 1%. Stephen Innes from SPI Asset Management noted US equity investors are becoming more selective, with mixed performances in major indices.
