Despite mixed macro news, the market stayed resilient. Inflation was slightly hotter, jobless claims were stronger, and tariff headlines added uncertainty. Still, the NASDAQ moved higher. That price action matters.
The main focus for me is the VIX. It dropped back into the 19s and fell more than 5 percent. Fear has eased compared to earlier in the week. It is not complacent, but it shows improving sentiment.
