China’s big smartphone makers are planning their biggest price hikes in 5-years in March, due to surging memory chip costs, media report. China giants Oppo, OnePlus, Vivo, Xiaomi, iQoo, Honor may enact multiple price hikes this year, as smartphone LPDDR4 memory prices have already increased over 80% compared to the same time last year.
