Operation: Added a small tranche of the $STI ETF(ES3.SG) today.
Insights:
Added today as the Straits Times Index continues to show strength after breaking above the 5,000 level, led largely by gains in Singapore’s three major banks, which carry heavy weight in the index.
After a strong 22.7% rally in 2025, the backdrop remains constructive, with an improving economic outlook and steady capital inflows into Singapore equities.
With this momentum and attractive dividend yields from blue-chip companies, I’m comfortable gradually accumulating the ETF in small tranches, rather than trying to time the market perfectly.
