Market volatility is being driven largely by higher interest rates and rising bond yields. Singapore equities have eased from recent highs as investors remain focused on the interest rate outlook. Despite this the broader economy continues to show resilience, supported by steady exports, technology investment, digitalisation and ongoing growth. Banks and high quality dividend stocks also continue to offer relative stability.

Companies with strong cash flows, solid profitability, healthy balance sheets and reasonable valuations are therefore becoming increasingly attractive.
