The next few weeks could be interesting for markets, with several major catalysts lined up. Tonight’s Jackson Hole keynote is the first big event I’m watching, especially for any clues on the Fed’s direction and how markets may react. Then there’s Apple’s CEO transition on 1 September, followed by the Apple event on 10 September, where expectations around a foldable iPhone could create additional volatility in Apple and related names. The 16 September FOMC decision is probably the biggest macro event for me. With so many catalysts close together, I’d rather avoid chasing short-term moves and focus on how expectations change versus what actually happens. For me, patience and position sizing matter most in this environment.
