$Sheng Siong(OV8.SG)

Context:

I’ve been holding Sheng Siong for its defensive business and steady dividend. It’s a stock I’m comfortable with, but I felt the recent price movement gave me a good opportunity to lock in my gains.

My trade:

I decided to sell my Sheng Siong position and take some profit. Nothing fundamentally changed overnight — I just felt the risk/reward wasn’t as attractive to me at the current price.

Takeaway:

Sometimes it’s better to take the win and move on. I’ll keep Sheng Siong on my watchlist though, and if the price becomes attractive again, I wouldn’t mind getting back in.
