Aspeed, the server baseboard management chip designer, said business will surge next year amid a massive backlog of orders, while in the 2nd half of this year, will grow each quarter, media report, citing Chairman Chris Lin.
He said 2027 orders already exceed this year’s projected revenue, and that Aspeed will benefit from higher shipment volumes and rising prices. Higher costs this year make a double-digit price increase inevitable by the 4th quarter, he said, adding Aspeed has a number of design wins for AI server chips, and continues to create new designs. He said supply chain constraints will ease in the 2nd half, with more pronounced improvement in the 1st quarter next year.Source: Dan Nystedt
