# HSTECH Pulls Back 1% After Friday’s Rally; Baidu and Auto Stocks Lead Declines

$Hang Seng TECH Index(STECH.HK) fell as much as 1% in early morning trading on Monday (7 September), pulling back after its 2.3% rally on Friday (4 September).

Correspondingly, the $HSTECH 7xShortSG270309(9B2W.SG)  rose by as much as 7%, while the $HSTECH 7xLongSG271216(SYHW.SG)  fell a similar magnitude.

$BIDU-W(09888.HK)  led the decline, falling approximately 6% as of 10am Singapore time. Amplifying the move, the [**Baidu 5x Short DLC (V2UW)**](http://dlc.socgen.com/en/products/terms/code/V2UW) climbed about 30%, while the [**Baidu 5x Long DLC (HVYW)**](http://dlc.socgen.com/en/products/terms/code/HVYW)fell a similar magnitude.

Automobile stocks were also among the decliners, including $XIAOMI-W(01810.HK)  (-4%), $BYD COMPANY(01211.HK)  (-2%) and $XPENG-W(09868.HK) (-2%).

Meanwhile, chip stocks mostly traded higher. $SMIC(00981.HK) rose around 1%, which lifted the [**SMIC 5x Long DLC (WWZW)**](http://dlc.socgen.com/en/products/terms/code/WWZW) by ~5%, while the [**SMIC 5x Short DLC (9DFW)**](http://dlc.socgen.com/en/products/terms/code/9DFW) fell around the same magnitude.
