I think the biggest takeaway is that predicting the exact direction of $NVIDIA(NVDA.US) around earnings is becoming extremely difficult. The community correctly identified the potential for a bounce after seven losing days, but the actual 8.74% move was far beyond expectations. For me, this shows how quickly sentiment can shift when fundamentals remain strong and positioning becomes too defensive.
I would rather focus on the longer-term AI cycle than trying to predict every earnings-day move. NVDA still has strong demand and a huge role in AI infrastructure, but expectations are also extremely high. My approach is to stay patient, avoid chasing a sudden spike, and use meaningful pullbacks to build exposure gradually. In my view, consistency matters more than getting one earnings call exactly right.
