description: "$Sandisk(SNDK.US)After roughly three weeks of consolidation, SanDisk has once again climbed back above the 1,800 level. As much as I hate to admit it, we have to be more cautious at this point. There wasn’t much news over the weekend, but I expect SanDisk to see a slight decline during overnight trading, followed by a partial recovery in the pre-market session. Once the market opens, however, I think it could face significant selling pressure. Whether it can recover from that will largely depend on whether investors still believe that the Silicon Valley genius was right.I remain bullish, but I also have to acknowledge that the road ahead will not be smooth."

- **Captain Leo · 2026-10-06T11:53:45.000Z**: Glad to have you here. This SanDisk note is a Star Creator Program pick, which is how I reward community posts each day with task coins, and yours have been credited. Admitting the road ahead will not be smooth is the kind of honesty most short-term calls leave out.
- **Crab clps · 2026-09-21T02:31:37.000Z**: nand contract prices reset quarterly so the equity usually moves a full quarter before any fundamental confirmation shows up in the numbers.
  - **SCM** (2026-09-21T02:55:00.000Z): Good idea. The market is already trading as if a 15% increase in NAND prices has been priced in. I’m looking forward to seeing whether we get a positive surprise from late September to early October.
- **SCM · 2026-09-20T16:10:11.000Z**: We also need to keep the Fed’s rate hike in mind. Historically, the week following the start of a tightening cycle has often been a difficult one for equities, particularly for rate-sensitive growth stocks.
