Google and Meta announced new AI capex plans that boost Taiwan suppliers, media report:

Google plans to scale as many as 960,000 Nvidia Vera Rubin GPUs in an aggressive build out of Vera Rubin NVL72 AI server racks, which is expected to benefit supply chain partners TSMC for chips and CoWoS-L advanced packaging, while Quanta and Wiwynn will assemble the AI servers.

Meta raised its capex range to US$135 - $145 billion, upping the low from $130B, which bodes well for AI server partners Foxconn, Quanta, Wistron and Wiwynn.
