Apple reported earnings and while it was overall good etc, guidance was rather tepid. The market places such high expectations nowadays, they want to be blown away to see a pop post-earnings.
And to be fair, Apple is widely considered defensive tech and not amongst your high beta AI names. Market is defensive and you can imagine the capital hiding in Apple ready to deploy once the AI coast is clear.
