# The list of 2023 National Science and Technology Awards has been announced. Let's take a look at the innovative achievements in the pharmaceutical field that won awards.

On the morning of June 24, 2024, the National Science and Technology Conference, the National Science and Technology Awards Conference, and the Conference of Academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering were held in Beijing. General Secretary Xi Jinping presented awards to the recipients and delivered an important speech.  

The National Science and Technology Award is like the crown jewel of China's science and technology field, representing the highest honor. It is divided into five categories: the National Highest Science and Technology Award, the National Natural Science Award, the National Technology Invention Award, the National Science and Technology Progress Award, and the International Science and Technology Cooperation Award of the People's Republic of China. The 2023 National Science and Technology Awards list shows significant achievements in the healthcare sector, with 29 projects and one innovation team receiving awards. The full list is as follows:
