## 0911 **Dolphin's Focus:**

### **🐬 Macro/Industry**

**1.** Tonight at 20:30, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics will release the CPI data for August. Currently, the market expects both the August U.S. CPI and core CPI to increase by 0.2% month-on-month, remaining unchanged from the previous month. The CPI data will impact the market's expectations for a Fed rate cut. Currently, a 25 basis point cut is still within expectations, but if there is a cooler-than-expected reading, it may increase expectations for a 50 basis point cut, leading to market volatility.

**2.** From 9:00 to 10:45 on September 11th Beijing time, U.S. presidential candidates Trump and current Vice President Harris held a televised debate for the U.S. election, discussing various issues such as the economy, abortion rights, immigration, Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Russia-Ukraine conflict, Afghanistan, climate change, and more. Based on voter feedback, the majority believe that Harris performed better in this debate. As the support rates of the two candidates were very close before the debate, it currently appears that Harris has a greater chance of winning.
