South Korea leaves about 20% of the market size for foreign automakers. As for Japan, if you count K-Car, it's 5-10% for foreign automakers; if not, it's also around 20%. As an export-oriented economy, it's quite challenging to aim for 100% domestic market share while also exporting a significant amount.
