# Life Revelation

The market was good yesterday, let's not talk about stocks today, but share some interesting life stories.

Recently, I went furniture shopping and visited some physical stores to check out samples. The shop owner told me there are factory subsidies that can be stacked with national subsidies, making it super cost-effective. They first tell you the original price, then the factory discount, followed by the store discount, and finally an additional 15% off with the national subsidy. The owner said the national subsidy is only available until the end of the month, and they even help with the paperwork to ensure we get the subsidy. It got me so excited that I almost emptied my wallet on the spot. Later, I decided to consult my parents before making a purchase. Back home, my parents laughed and told me the national subsidy isn't as great as it seems. A so-called 15% subsidy means the merchant has to go through the normal tax process, which already takes up 13%. So, if you were the merchant, how would you price your products?
