$BABA-W(09988.HK) has made rapid progress on the path of AI. Alibaba Cloud's visual generation foundation model Wanxiang 2.1 (Wan) announced its official open source.

According to the latest financial report data, Alibaba Cloud's revenue in the fourth quarter reached 31.7 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13%, significantly better than the market consensus expectation of 9.7%. Although the actual expectations of buyers may have risen to more than 10% in the recent rally, the 3pct beat margin is considered by Dolphin Research to be a relatively satisfactory figure for buyers.

From a profit perspective, Alibaba Cloud's adjusted EBITA profit this quarter reached 3.14 billion yuan, exceeding expectations by 28.3%. The Adj.EBITA margin rose by 0.9pct quarter-on-quarter.

As the core of Alibaba's revaluation (even more important than Taotian business), the double beat of Alibaba Cloud's revenue and profit continues to drive the market towards optimism.
