Federal Reserve's Bostic:

We will not take the risk of inflation expectations lightly.

💥Businesses can no longer bear higher tariffs.

I still believe the impact of tariffs on consumer prices will not fade quickly and may take months to materialize.

Businesses do not anticipate a major shift in the labor market, but if it occurs, I will cautiously formulate policy responses.

Despite slowing hiring and labor supply, the U.S. remains close to full employment.

Businesses still expect robust economic performance this year, and other evidence suggests the Fed's policy is not overly restrictive.

💥Based on the upcoming employment report and other data, I would not rule out the possibility of a rate cut in September.

It is unclear whether the labor market is weakening substantially.
