description: "$Tesla(TSLA.US) Rise and fall by TSL. I was too greedy today and made a serious mistake, almost got liquidated. At that moment, I felt like the sky was falling. A mere few dollars' fluctuation almost wiped me out. I was walking downstairs while discussing countermeasures with a friend on the phone. I felt like my life was about to be ruined because of this one wrong move to increase my position. Later, I stayed up all night watching the market, which gave me several opportunities, but I didn't cut my losses. I kept holding on, desperately hoping to break even. It was truly foolish. A grave mistake—I almost wanted to restart my life. Holding the options for three hours, the time value decayed too much. Even when the stock returned to its original price, I was still down a few hundred dollars. I had no choice but to hold a bit longer, but there was never a chance to break even and sell. Finally, at 1 o'clock, it surged to a new high. I was so excited. It spiked and then pulled back, so I quickly sold. But I was still short by over $300—more than 2,000 RMB—so I had to add a small position to take another bite. 30*3 is $90. Then I shorted, thinking the MACD indicated a big drop. I held for a short while, and sure enough, it plunged. I took a small profit and ran, covering my losses and even making a tiny gain. It was truly a narrow escape. I can't keep doing this. TSL is a demon stock—it always pulls me back to the original price after blowing me up in the opposite direction. Day trading is too hard. I've decided never to gamble with short-term options again, or I'll be left with nowhere to bury myself. Thankfully, my last few moves were divinely inspired, turning the tide and saving the day. Let this post serve as proof—I must never make such a foolish mistake again."

- **取名好头疼 · 2025-09-12T21:29:50.000Z**: Don't think about gambling to recoup losses. The more anxious you are, the easier it is to lose money. I lost nearly $20k this way before.
  - **半生瓜** (2025-09-13T02:27:56.000Z): Yes, I read the post you shared earlier. I wish both of us a speedy recovery.
- **信仰小哥哥 · 2025-09-12T20:37:16.000Z**: Gambling-style strategies require accepting the consequences.
- **小周不满仓 · 2025-09-12T18:20:59.000Z**: I'm serious, you've traded over 1,000 options contracts with a 95% return rate, but you're not in the industry. Most of your funds are in stocks, you lack experience, have no information advantage, don't research companies, and haven't seriously read financial reports. Wanting to get rich quickly wi
  - **半生瓜** (2025-09-12T18:24:41.000Z): You're absolutely right, we shouldn't gamble. I won't do this again in the future.
- **小周不满仓 · 2025-09-12T18:17:08.000Z**: I'm serious, don't play with options. You won't get rich.
- **无因果 · 2025-09-12T17:40:41.000Z**: Tesla is extremely volatile and hard to control. You must seize the right moment to go with the trend, or you'll easily get crushed if you go against it.
  - **半生瓜** (2025-09-12T18:11:18.000Z): Going against the trend is risky, and following the trend doesn't guarantee profits either. A sudden reversal can wipe you out instantly.
- **Trend Hunter · 2025-09-12T17:35:28.000Z**: Frequent trading is a taboo～Although I can't resist day trading, the commission is hundreds of dollars a day, and the cost has increased by more than 6 points in the past two days😅 But I don't short sell or play options gambling. If I lose, I go to bed early and the loss will be recovered within a
  - **半生瓜** (2025-09-12T18:10:14.000Z): Yes, the underlying stock still has a chance to recover, but options are really hopeless.
- **xx是为了回本 · 2025-09-12T17:35:24.000Z**: Weekly options... hard to evaluate
  - **半生瓜** (2025-09-12T18:11:46.000Z): Indeed, it shouldn't be like this.
- **大饼战士久留美 · 2025-09-12T17:27:01.000Z**: Is that all you got, bro? You can check my posts 🙂 I've been through despair, anger, pain, and regret. But the market doesn't care about emotions. If you don't understand it, maybe you shouldn't play with options in the future.
  - **半生瓜** (2025-09-12T17:31:40.000Z): Brother, you are so amazing, so professional, and have made so much money. I see you have a lot of assets. Can you mentor me? I want to learn, dear brother.
  - **大饼战士久留美** (2025-09-12T17:35:37.000Z): Where are you? 😃 I was eaten 32 of them.
  - **大饼战士久留美** (2025-09-12T17:36:27.000Z): Just telling you to stay calm and not get emotional
- **元神 · 2025-09-12T17:22:52.000Z**: It's just a few thousand bucks, bro. No need to restart your life over it.
  - **半生瓜** (2025-09-12T17:25:37.000Z): Already lost too much, every time it's TSLA's extreme market conditions, making a little profit, then losing tens of thousands. This is the last bit of money, if I lose again, I'll be in debt.
- **T.A.O · 2025-09-12T17:18:29.000Z**: It's not worth it for such a small amount of money, not even for tens of thousands of dollars.
  - **半生瓜** (2025-09-12T17:28:08.000Z): I also really want to be rich, but it's too hard. I wish I had more capital so I could sell puts to earn premiums, but with my current funds, I can only trade low-priced stocks, which are much riskier
  - **半生瓜** (2025-09-12T17:29:28.000Z): But when the account directly dropped by 65%, I was really desperate. From an initial profit of 2,000 to a loss of 24,000, I was truly out of options.
  - **T.A.O** (2025-09-12T17:32:41.000Z): Welcome back, learn from the lesson.
