Latest disclosure: DJI action cameras account for nearly 70% of global market share, and panoramic cameras account for nearly 50%.

On October 27, 2025, the authoritative management consulting firm Jiuqian Consulting released a global report on the panoramic and action camera market. The report pointed out that in recent years, the global market share of action cameras and panoramic cameras has undergone significant changes, and the market landscape is undergoing rapid restructuring.
In the field of action cameras, the U.S. brand GoPro once dominated the global market. From 2022 to 2023, GoPro maintained its leading position with the HERO series, holding over 75% of the global market share. However, by 2025, its revenue share had gradually shrunk to 18%. After three years, the market welcomed a "new king"—DJI, which rapidly rose to prominence through years of strategic planning, product development, and ecosystem synergy. By Q3 2025, DJI's revenue in this field accounted for 66% of the global market share, securing an absolute advantage as the global leader in the action camera market. Another Chinese brand, Insta360, currently holds about 13% of the market share.
The market landscape of panoramic cameras has also seen intense changes. DJI entered this field on July 31 this year. In less than three months, its first panoramic camera, the Osmo 360, leveraged cross-platform applications and a high cost-performance ratio to secure 49% of the market share in Chinese e-commerce channels and 43% globally. This has accelerated the restructuring of the global panoramic camera market.
Recently, JD.com's "Action Camera Gold List" was released, further confirming that the entire action camera market has fully entered the "DJI era." DJI's Osmo Action 5 Pro, Osmo Nano, and Osmo Action 4 directly claimed the top three spots on the Gold List.
From a more detailed market performance perspective, in JD.com's "Outdoor Panoramic Action Camera Best-Sellers List," DJI's Osmo 360, launched less than three months ago, also claimed the top spot and has held this position for 49 days.
DJI's market share and sales data in action and panoramic cameras not only demonstrate the technological strength of Chinese brands but also show that, beyond its absolute dominance in the drone industry, DJI has achieved a leading position in the global handheld imaging market through its continuously evolving imaging technology matrix and ecosystem strategy.
