There has been too much pullback recently.

The main mistake was having too full a position and insufficient defensive stocks. It's like going to war—the vanguard goes up first, but there's not enough logistical support. Options are the vanguard—just buy and add more, but once the market falls, almost all stocks move in sync, with no defensive force to compensate.
