On Thursday at market open, I chose to short QQQ, taking profits in batches according to the rule of thirds. There was a subsequent 7x rally, but I have no regrets—I made money within my circle of competence. After closing the PUT for a profit, I flipped to go long on Tesla's expiring options. Midway, feeling the rebound was a bit weak, I wanted to exit flat but held on. Later, a small rebound came, and I took profits in batches before exiting. Finally, seeing Amazon retest last week's low, I chose to enter and successfully got trapped with a 10% loss.
