One burst of energy, then a decline, and finally exhaustion. When the enemy is exhausted and we are full of vigor, one wanes while the other waxes. Actually, stock trading follows the same principle 😄 Why is every rally less satisfying than a drop? Without squeezing the shorts, it's hard for the price to rise in a truly satisfying way. That's because the main players make money whether they go long or short. Who would turn down money? The only ones being harvested back and forth are the retail investors with weak conviction.
