Allocation and Control of Position and Stock Types

Opened positions in $Berkshire Hathaway B(BRK.B.US)  $Microsoft(MSFT.US)

Closed position in $Direxion Semicon Bull 3X(SOXL.US) (120% profit)

1\. For truly good companies, hold the underlying shares for the long term and enjoy the power of the world's eighth wonder—compound interest. The $Taiwan Semiconductor(TSM.US) and $Apple(AAPL.US) in my current portfolio are both highly profitable and stable. In contrast, holding 3x leveraged ETFs and using leverage can mess up your mindset and timing, leading to buying too early, selling too early, and reckless trading.

If you don't have the determination and preparation to hold a stock for ten years, then don't hold it for even three minutes.

2\. The allocation for stable-type stocks should not be less than half of the allocation for high-volatility stocks like tech.

Ten soldiers charging into battle 🪖 should be supported by five logistics personnel. This not only maintains morale, allowing the front line to charge forward without hesitation, but also helps the entire army recover in unfavorable situations.
