Choose your targets well,

buy some when it drops a lot,

sell some when it rises too much,

or just hold on and don't move.

The US stock market rewards long-term holders the most.

Short-term trading should only be done as a hobby, playing with small positions.

Most people don't have a good enough mentality for long-term investing, let alone short-term trading.
