# Botaiche Lian (02889) has been included in the Hang Seng Composite Index and is expected to become a Stock Connect (for Hong Kong) target.

On February 13, Hang Seng Indexes Company announced the results of the quarterly review of the Hang Seng Index Series as of December 31, 2025. Pateo Connect (02889) was included in the Hang Seng Composite Index. The changes will be implemented after the market close on Friday, March 6, 2026, and will take effect from Monday, March 9, 2026. At that time, the Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges will adjust the scope of investable targets under the Stock Connect (for Hong Kong) accordingly. According to a CICC research report, Pateo Connect may be added to the Stock Connect (for Hong Kong) as it meets a series of criteria including market capitalization, liquidity, and listing time.

Pateo Connect (02889) issued an announcement stating that to promote the deep integration and development of "technology + finance + automotive + services," the company entered into a framework cooperation agreement with Ping An Property & Casualty Insurance Company of China, Ltd. ("Ping An P&C") on January 31, 2026. Both parties will, through the deep integration and innovation of "AI + Internet of Vehicles technology + insurance services," break down the industry boundaries between the automotive industry and the financial insurance industry. This will achieve a leapfrog upgrade from "basic services" to "personalized, full-scenario empowerment," reconstruct the smart mobility insurance ecosystem, and lead the transformation of insurance services and the upgrade of user experience in the era of smart mobility.$PATEO(02889.HK)
