# Stock Live Trading P149: Heart is dead

This week, the market opened for 4 days, and I lost money for 4 days.

I went in full of confidence, thinking I had figured it out. But when the market rose, I shorted and got crushed; when the market fell, I went long and got crushed. Four battles, four defeats. Even for a gambling addict, the win rate can't be 0, right? I'm now deeply mired in doubts about fatalism. I just casually glanced and saw Netflix has skyrocketed. Actually, I was still holding Netflix options last week, but they got wiped out to zero last week, and now this week the options have multiplied hundreds of times. Isn't this fate messing with me? Not letting me win even once?

Since mid-January, over 30 trading days, I've probably only been profitable for less than 5 days, and the remaining 20-plus days were all losses. I don't understand if I'm really stupid and foolish, or if fate is trying to wipe me out. Maybe it's time to leave the game, so destiny is just speeding things up for me.

I can hold on for a few more days. If there's still no turnaround, I should leave. It's pathetic when a person's curtain call has come, and they're shamelessly clinging to the table, refusing to leave.

The stock market is my guillotine. I came to the wrong place.
