# Stock live trading P165: It's really lonely.

Today, several friends called me to ask about the stock market, wondering if the Iran war has much to do with the stock market crash. Some friends also told me they've become numb to the current decline and feel nothing anymore.

Actually, I'm doing okay. I didn't lose much in March, just a few dozen points, which is very little compared to previous losses, mainly because I don't have much capital left; my entire position is tied up in precious metals. On Friday, the system forced me to liquidate my Microsoft position, and now I can survive a little longer.

Reading online articles, many influencers are bearish, believing the US stock market crash has just begun, and they appear even more pessimistic than during the April tariff period. Although these people were also very pessimistic in April and thought the decline would continue, they were proven wrong by the subsequent reversal. Now it's the same story again. As for what will happen next, no one really knows. Believing in a fortune teller's crystal ball is no better than rolling the dice yourself.

I've already laid back, ready to ride the waves, rising and falling with the tide. If gold really falls to seven or eight hundred, or even four or five hundred, I'll buy a bit more. If gold is completely replaced and the world no longer needs it, then I'll have made history.

Lately, I haven't been researching stocks much; I've been reading history. The takeaway is that the changes over the past few decades have been immense. This era has no heroes, no masters, no literary giants, no poets, only cold AI and numbers. Even trailblazers like Elon Musk or Jensen Huang haven't done anything truly epic; they are just riding the wave of AI.

Even if sages like Qin Shi Huang, Emperor Wu of Han, Li Shimin, Zhuge Liang, or Wang Yangming were alive today, it would be hard for them to achieve much in this world. Let alone me. Anyway, this era can no longer bear my dreams. I might as well just lie flat, do things that make me happy, and there's no need to be too pessimistic. Accepting that I'm an ordinary person who may be mediocre for a lifetime, just like that line from Ah Fei.

This era is just too boring, it's really lonely. Losing everything is just losing everything; I won't take it to heart, and you shouldn't either. Just ask yourself one question: Are you happy?
