description: "Today I took some time to sort out the trading issues I've had with QQQ 0DTE expiration day options. It's also a way to do a periodic review and reminder for myself.I currently only trade QQQ expiration day options. After reviewing, the most fatal and recurring problems are concentrated in four areas:Selling too early: The entry point isn't actually bad, but when volatility spikes, I can't hold on, taking small profits and running, then watching the price surge later, too afraid to re-enter.Holding on stubbornly in the wrong direction: Clearly, the judgment is already wrong, but I always want to wait for a rebound to break even before exiting, resulting in becoming more passive the longer I hold, and losses getting larger.Making random spreads: Frequently trading small waves in choppy markets, trying to make some price difference, only to have the profits basically handed over as commissions.Falling into entry point traps: Always buying at the halfway point, unable to withstand a pullback, and finally cutting losses at a relatively low point.I now mainly use three indicators—QQQ volume, KDJ, and MACD—to determine direction and entry timing. I've also slowly summarized a few basic rules for my own use:Must-check data before market open: Nasdaq futures trend, QQQ pre-market quotes, and whether there are major data releases like CPI, unemployment claims, etc.Mark key levels in advance: The previous day's low as support, the previous day's high as resistance.Determine direction: Bias towards Calls if futures are strong, bias towards Puts if futures are weak, and simply avoid choppy markets.Indicator filtering: For RSI overbought (>75), wait for a pullback to the 60-70 range before considering entry; for oversold (<25), wait for a bounce to the 30-40 range before taking action, trying to avoid extreme market conditions.Key questions for buying QQQ 0DTE: How to judge direction? How to find the best entry point? What are the sell signals? How to withstand volatility and avoid being shaken out? How to set exit discipline?"

- **优秀的达不刘 · 2026-04-20T14:10:05.000Z**: Expiring options are all about betting on the direction; you don't need that much technical support. The opportunity is fleeting, okay?
- **DyvgKR · 2026-04-20T09:41:20.000Z**: I often trade QQQ doomsday options, usually selling out-of-the-money puts, 1 to 3 contracts at a time.
 - **不做韭菜的里昂** (2026-04-20T10:25:26.000Z): I trade weekly expiring options every day, it's easy to get addicted, not good. And after a long time, I lose interest in the underlying stock.
 - **DyvgKR** (2026-04-20T10:27:59.000Z): Agree.. so I myself also hold long-term stocks and do short-term trading of end-of-month options.
- **喜茶V · 2026-04-20T09:38:12.000Z**: I've also been trading end-of-month options, we can exchange ideas. I only take out-of-the-money ones, waiting. Either cut losses at a 50% drop, or exit when I reach my desired profit. Also, I'm trading small amounts, only one contract at a time.
 - **喜茶V** (2026-04-20T09:40:49.000Z): We can communicate together, share daily directions, and huddle together for warmth.
- **候鸟 · 2026-04-20T09:36:10.000Z**: I also specialize in QQQ doomsday (trading), and I can learn together with you.
- **大白菜不酸辣 · 2026-04-18T23:57:31.000Z**: What are the typical settings for MACD and KDJ parameters?
 - **不做韭菜的里昂** (2026-04-20T01:58:59.000Z): I don't set it up. I've also looked for similar tutorials online before, and in the end, I personally think it's not very meaningful.
 - **大白菜不酸辣** (2026-04-20T03:35:36.000Z): Is it the default parameter?
 - **不做韭菜的里昂** (2026-04-20T04:16:06.000Z): Right, do you have any good suggestions?
