Some analysts believe that Terafab is essentially an expansion project led by Intel Foundry, with Tesla primarily responsible for funding and chip design rather than building a complete wafer fab. The goal is to achieve 1 terawatt (TW) level of computing power annually to support autonomous driving, humanoid robots (Optimus), and data center needs."
