# China's First Natively Developed Robotaxi Unveiled at Beijing Auto Show, CaoCao Mobility Custom Version to Enter Mass Production in 2027

On April 24th, China's first natively developed Robotaxi—the Eva Cab—made its official debut at the 2026 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition. This model integrates Geely's deep capabilities in electric intelligent vehicle R&D and manufacturing, the Qianli Haohan G-ASD L4 intelligent driving solution, and Caocao Chuxing's decade of shared mobility operation and service insights. It is entirely forward-developed based on autonomous driving operation scenarios.

Caocao Chuxing was deeply involved in the product definition and development of China's first native Robotaxi, fully leveraging the company's successful experience with existing custom models in significantly reducing vehicle TCO (Total Cost of Ownership). It comprehensively optimized vehicle styling, interior space logic, human-machine interaction systems, and overall durability, while building multiple safety redundancies to achieve all-around leadership in cost, safety, experience, and efficiency. This model will enter mass production in 2027, with Caocao Chuxing planning to deploy a cumulative total of 100,000 units by 2030.

Gong Xin, CEO of Caocao Chuxing, stated: "Caocao Chuxing has always led the transformation of the shared mobility industry through technological innovation and operational practice. The Robotaxi released today is a key step in realizing the closed-loop ecosystem of 'smart custom vehicles + smart driving technology + smart operations.' We will fully leverage our operational advantages and collaborate with partners like Geely Auto Group to build a truly 'operation-born' Robotaxi fleet. With globally leading products and services, we aim to provide global users with a safer, more convenient, and greener intelligent mobility experience."

As the culmination of Geely's All-domain AI 2.0 technology system, the Eva Cab will be equipped with the world's first "Quantum-level AI Electronic and Electrical Architecture." Through quantum encryption technology, it achieves end-to-end, quantum-level security protection covering both vehicle and cloud, spanning multiple high-frequency scenarios such as Bluetooth keys, remote vehicle control, OTA updates, and data privacy. It also features the industry's first SOVD integrated vehicle-cloud diagnosis technology, building a proactive protection system covering the entire lifecycle for users. From the initial design phase, the vehicle proactively introduced multiple redundant configurations for steering, braking, power supply, and computing platforms, and is equipped with systems like sensor self-cleaning and dual-redundancy steer-by-wire. This thoroughly eliminates potential hidden faults in aftermarket solutions at the physical level, laying a solid safety foundation for fully driverless operation.

In terms of durability and economy, the Eva Cab adopts a native low-drag integrated design, with no steering wheel or passenger seat, supporting automatic battery swapping and cleaning. The vehicle's design lifespan is 2-3 times that of ordinary passenger cars, with key component lifespans also significantly exceeding ordinary passenger cars. Maintenance intervals are greatly extended, and both procurement and operational costs are low. With an extremely low TCO (Total Cost of Ownership), it ensures fleet asset return rates, paving the way for scalable profitability.

Regarding user experience, the Eva Cab adheres to the design philosophy of "Tech Mobility, Better Life," transforming the cabin layout from "driver-centric" to "passenger space-centric." Through high, wide opposing electric sliding doors and an opposing seat layout, it achieves a perfect fusion of advanced aesthetics and ultimate space. Simultaneously, the vehicle is equipped with China's first cabin-driving integrated super AI agent—Super Eva. Empowered by end-to-end voice and VLM visual models, it possesses exceptional perception and comprehension capabilities, deeply connecting the in-vehicle and external ecosystems to achieve the decomposition and multi-domain collaborative execution of complex tasks.

The launch event also showcased a scenario of Robotaxi coordination with the "Green Smart Transit Island." The Green Smart Transit Island integrates functions like automatic battery swapping, automatic cleaning, vehicle preparation, intelligent dispatch, and automatic settlement, while reserving space for eVTOL landing pads and charging interfaces. In the future, the Eva Cab will also integrate into the integrated air-ground intelligent technology ecosystem. Through deep collaboration with ecosystem partners such as road traffic systems, low-altitude flying cars, and low-orbit satellite communications, it will jointly create a beautiful intelligent mobility world of "Zero Wait, Zero Congestion, Zero Accidents."

As the most important commercialization vehicle for Geely Holding Group's Robotaxi, Caocao Chuxing has formed a trinity, closed-loop Robotaxi ecosystem of "smart custom vehicles + smart driving technology + smart operations." Having deeply cultivated the shared mobility market for ten years, the company has accumulated massive travel data, mature dispatch algorithms, and a nationwide service network. It has also established an asset management system covering vehicle procurement, insurance, maintenance, and residual value management, laying a solid foundation for the commercialization of Robotaxi.

This year, Caocao Chuxing will gradually expand to more domestic cities, continuously grow its Robotaxi fleet, and plans to explore Robotaxi operations in Hong Kong while deploying Robotaxi in international markets. Leveraging Geely Holding Group's global network, Caocao Chuxing will swiftly complete its layout in suitable markets.
