# Chinese and US heads of state meet in Beijing, tech giants gather in China

US President Donald Trump made a state visit to China from May 13th to 15th. This is the second face-to-face meeting between the leaders of China and the US since their last meeting in Busan in October last year, and it is also the first visit to China by a US President in 9 years.

The White House announced on the 11th the list of business leaders accompanying Trump on his visit to China. Representatives from US companies visiting China include Tesla CEO Elon Musk, Apple CEO Tim Cook, and heads of semiconductor companies such as Qualcomm and Micron.

According to media reports, Trump posted on "Truth Social," saying, "It is my honor to be able to travel to the great China with so many outstanding individuals." Trump also stated that he hopes the accompanying business leaders can "show their full capabilities" and help China move towards a higher level of development!
