Lam Research, GlobalFoundries, and STMicroelectronics all hit new two-week highs today, with relatively clean technical patterns on both equipment and manufacturing sides.
Lam Research closed above 322, with its 5-day moving average at 299 continuously turning upward and volume supporting the move. As long as a pullback doesn't break below 300, this uptrend structure remains intact. GlobalFoundries broke above the 90 level; once it decisively breaks through the previous high concentration area on high volume, the target looks higher. STMicroelectronics showed slight short-term weakness after breaking through 70.
All three have moved far from their moving averages, making the risk-reward ratio for chasing the rally not ideal—I prefer waiting for a pullback to the 5-day moving average and stabilization before adding, and should reduce positions if they break below their respective breakout necklines (Lam 300 / GlobalFoundries 78).
